The Hartford Public Schools System recognizes the importance of parent and guardian involvement to achieve a successful school experience for students.  For this reason we strongly encourage parents and guardians to become members of the Hartford Public Schools Parent-Teacher Organization.   The PTO offers opportunities for you to interact with other parents, as well as teachers and administrators within the school community.  In addition to providing a parents' perspective into the educational programs, the PTO is a powerful force that helps to generate awareness for important issues, activities.  Fundraising is another contribution that the PTO brings to the table.
