The Culinary Arts Academy is a college preparatory small school for 400 students grades 9–12.The Academy will engage students in a 21st Century learning environment that combines rigorous academic courses with a related sequence of career pathway courses focused on Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management. Students earn an industry-recognized ProStart certificate by meeting the applied learning standards set forth by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. Students may also be eligible to earn dual college credits through area colleges.

The Culinary Arts Academy will offer a core high school curriculum aligned with national and state standards that will meet college admission expectations.Additionally, the curriculum will be driven by industry standards and national skill certification.The integration of career and technical course pathways aligned with a college readiness core curriculum will provide an interdisciplinary approach and real world relevance.An essential component of the curriculum will be mentoring and internships affiliated with local restaurants, hotel chains, and culinary institutions.
