Dear Parents and Guardians:
The Hartford School System is pleased to announce that we are extending options in school selection to all Hartford families in the 2008-09 school year. Parents and students will have an active role in selecting which school will best meet their individual needs. An All-Choice System of Schools will enable parents and students to apply to 11 Hartford Host Interdistrict Magnet Schools and nine additional schools that are part of the new All-Choice Schools Plan. This site provides you with information about these distinctive schools, their course of study, and the programs and grade levels they serve. This site will also provide important information about how the choice selection process works.

After you become familiar with the theme, program and requirements for each school, we strongly encourage you to contact and visit the schools in which you are most interested.
