Parent involvement was the theme at the “Day of 1000 Parents”, held at Bulkeley High School on November 17, 2007. Sponsored by Hartford’s Parent Teacher Organizations, the event featured school administrators, representatives of community organizations, parent recognition awards, PTO elections, and a presentation on school choice by Superintendent Dr. Steven Adamowski. ‘Reading Buddies’ Celebrate End of Year
A group of 90 volunteers from The Hartford Financial Services Group recently celebrated the end of the school year with their “Reading Buddies” from West Middle Elementary School. The Hartford has made reading fun for more than 1,000 students. (Click here to see more photos.)
