Hartford Public High School Nursing Academy

The Nursing Academy will include multiple science labs and technology that will simulate a health care environment. The school greenhouse will be used to teach students about holistic health and nutrition. Students will have multiple opportunities to learn from and interact with experienced nurses and other health care providers.

Academic/School Programs

The Academy curriculum is based on the concept of C.A.R.E. (Character, Accountability, Responsibility and Excellence). This concept will be developed with all students as they prepare to deliver excellence in the medical field. As part of the core high school curriculum, students will take biology, chemistry, physics, and anatomy and physiology.
