Moylan “AMIGOS” Dual Language Program (Kindergarten – Grade 8) offers children of different languages and cultural background the opportunity to learn together. It is a full time integrated program that uses two languages (English/Spanish) for the purpose of instruction. The goals of the program are: dual language proficiency, cultural background exchanges, and academic excellence. Students can apply to our Dual Language Program in Kindergarten and 1st grade.
Moylan’s Dual Language program prepares students to live in a diverse world, while developing an appreciation and understanding of linguistic and cultural differences. Parental input and support are at the forefront to the success of each student’s linguistic and academic achievement. The program creates a bias free community that will promote high academic achievement of second language learners while fostering team collaboration among teachers and students. Students’ social, emotional, and linguistic growth is supported through the system-wide curriculum. Bilingualism and cultural sensitivity are reachable goals for all students to succeed and become life long learners.

Moylan Montessori
Montessori classes place children in multiage settings: ages 3-6, ages 6-9, and ages 9-12 forming communities in which the older children spontaneously share their knowledge with the younger one.
Discovery and Exploration
Montessori classrooms are designed for a three-year age mix to allow for both individual
and social development. Our classrooms encourage children to respond to their natural drive to work and learn. The children’s inherent love of learning is encouraged by giving them opportunities to engage in spontaneous, meaningful activities. Through their work, the children develop concentration, motivation, persistence and discipline.
Primary Classrooms
• Children ages 3-6
• Children learn in a multiage setting through hands-on activities which focus on practical life,
sensorial experiences, language arts, mathematics, geography, biology, botany, art and music.
• The prepared environment is designed to facilitate maximum independent learning and exploration by the child.
• Children learn to work independently based on their own initiative, which builds concentration and self discipline
