Suburban applicants that wish to apply to more than one magnet school for their child may use the application above. If applying for more than one magnet school, please rank your choices in order of preference (1 = First Choice;  2 = Second Choice, etc)  One application per student.

• Friday, February 29, 2008: Application deadline
• Thurs. March 13 – Mon. March 17: Choice Selection Process
• Monday, March 31, 2008: Schools will mail placement notifications to Parents
• Friday, April 11, 2008: Parent/guardian responses are due to schools
• Monday, August 1, 2008: Late application deadline
• Wednesday, October 1, 2008: Wait list expires

3. Mary Hooker Environmental Studies Magnet (Pre-K through 8);
4. Noah Webster Microsociety (Pre-K through 8);
5. R. J. Kinsella Magnet School of the Arts (Pre-K through 8);
6. Hartford Magnet Middle (6-8);
7. Capital Preparatory Magnet (6-12);
8. Classical Magnet (6-12);
9. Pathways to Technology (9-12);
10. Sport & Medical Sciences Academy (9-12); and
11. University High School of Science & Engineering (9-12).
