24-Hour Environmental Justice Hackathon
The City of Hartford and Upward Hartford invite you to a 24-Hour Environmental Justice Hackathon that is open to the public, including students and families.
This is not a coding hackathon – it’s about solutions and everyone is welcome!
Join us in solving the important challenge of Environment Justice!
We are calling on members of the community to come together for a fun 24-hours of working together to develop strategies and solutions on how to raise awareness about the importance of indoor air quality in homes, schools and public transportation. The goal is to introduce new solutions and ways of thinking and then create campaigns that will help get your message out.
By the end of the Hackathon weekend, our judges will select three finalist teams, each team will get a cash prize of $1000. Finalists will have the opportunity to work with the City of Hartford Health & Human Services on implementing their solutions. Aura Air will also select a winning team and each participant will receive their world famous Aura Air mini.
