98 Weston Street McDonald’s Family Donates to our Schools

Thank you to the Facey family and everyone at the 98 Weston Street McDonald’s Restaurant for donating $750 to  three of our schools: Wish Museum School, Milner Middle School, and to SAND School!

As a part of the restaurant’s grand re-opening ceremony on January 14, 2020, the new owner of the franchise, Mr. Facey and representatives from the McDonald’s Corporation gathered with their corporate employees, local Hartford workers, State Representative Brandon McGee, Senator Douglas McCrory, Hartford Public Schools Chief Engagement Officer Nuchette Black-Burke, and the principals of the three schools.

… and Milner Middle School’s Principal Leo Watson and FCSSP Doris Smith…
… and from SAND School, Principal Gerardo Heredia!

In addition, each school was granted a fundraising evening at the 98 Weston Street McDonald’s in which 15% of the proceeds between 5pm and 8pm will be donated to our schools.

Wish Museum School’s event was January 15th.

Milner Middle School’s fundraiser takes place on  Wednesday, January 22nd, and SAND School’s event take place on Wednesday, January 29th.

Our schools are grateful to the Facey Family and McDonald’s support of their beautiful and capable students, and for being excellent community partners!
