Annie Fisher STEM Magnet School 3rd Grade Student Earns 2nd Place in National Invention Convention

Gauri Kumbar, a 3rd Grade Student in Ms. Stockman’s class at Annie-Fisher STEM Magnet School participated in the local/regional Invention Convention in Connecticut.

 

She won two awards at the Local/Regional Invention Convention, the CT Science and Engineering Fair Award and the Boehringer Ingelheim Life Science Award which qualified her to participate in the National Invention Convention.

 

 

This past week, May 29-31, 2019, Gauri took 2nd place in the 3rd Grade Rankings at the National Invention Convention. Her invention is “Mosquito Management.”
