Annie Fisher STEM Magnet School's First Lego League Robotics Team Takes Third Place in Statewide Competition!

On November 23, 2013, the AF STEM Magnet School FLL Robotics Team, Hartford CT attended the First Lego League (FLL) competition held at Suffield Middle School.

16 teams competed for spots to move forward to the state championship. This is only the 2nd year that our team has entered, so they are considered rookies. This year's theme is “Nature's Fury”. The team came in First Place in the Project portion of the challenge, with an innovative solution to an existing problem faced by communities during a natural disaster. They also received a GOLDEN ADMISSION TICKET to the state competition scheduled for Saturday, December 6th at CENTRAL CT STATE UNIVERSITY (CCSU) in New Britain.

The team competed this past weekend at the FLL State Competition – They finished in Third Place!  48 total teams from across the state competed in this event.

Congratulations, team!
