Board Member Receives Latino Progress Champion Award

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, the Board of Directors of the Center for Latino Progress – CPRF

recognized Hartford Public Schools Board of Education member, Robert Cotto, Jr.  as one of the two members of the Hartford community who support and champion progress in the Latino community.  The Latino Progress Champion Award is presented to leaders raising the profile as well as promoting equity and seeking parity. Mr. Cotto was recognized as an Education Advocate this year. Wildaliz Bermudez was also recognized for her work as an Avid Community Organizer.
