Bulkeley High School Hosts Alumni Breakfast

On Wednesday, November 23, 2022, Bulkeley High School students were gifted with knowledge, wisdom, and experience from over 25 generous Bulldog Alumni who returned to their alma mater for breakfast and meetings with current freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

The Bulkeley Lower School gymnasium was festive, decorated for the holidays, and filled with the conversation and laughter of the Bulkeley alumni who gathered for a meet and greet over a buffet breakfast.  The school planned this event so that its graduates could come back and share their stories with current Bulldogs.

Charlene Perez Diaz, Assistant Director of Grants for Hartford Public Schools, left, was happily surprised to bump into another alum who was her former student from Burr School who has worked in the political sphere and is now preparing to study law

Each alumnus was able to have 30-minute conversations with students in 2 classrooms to share their personal histories, their academic experience,  and career advice.  Students shared their plans, ideas and questions, and then were able to join the alumni back in the gymnasium for conversation and networking.
