Bulkeley High School Students’ Paintings to be Showcased at Hartford Marathon

Hartford Marathon Foundation asked Bulkeley art students to create original paintings of all of the marathon medals throughout the years and they will be showcased at the race on Saturday, October 13, 2018.

Bulkeley High School is one of only two schools in the area participating to make art in celebration of the 25th running of the marathon highlighting aspiring artists from the community. The Hartford Marathon Foundation is looking to auction the paintings to benefit the participating schools.

Artwork will be on display at the Total Fitness Expo and in Bushnell Park on October 13th (race day).

The Total Fitness Expo is open and free to the public.

Friday, Oct 12, 11 AM -7 PM
