Burr School Incentivizes 53 Grade 6 – 8 Students to Prepare for Hartford Promise by Recognizing Those who Earn B’s and Above in Trimester 2

Burr School held an Honor Roll celebration Wednesday, March 23rd  to recognize 53 students in grades 6-8 that earned a B or higher on their Trimester 2 report cards.

Hartford Promise Scholars academic requirement is a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, which is equivalent to a B average.  With the goal of creating more potential Promise students, in the school year beginning 2013-2014, Burr’s School Counselor began recognizing students who earn a B or higher in all classes.  This has created a culture of high achievement and reinforces college aspirations.  These are the Honor Roll Students:
