Student enrichment opportunities include: Nature’s Classroom, Spanish K–8th, and instrumental music.
Middle-schoolers enjoy: seminar/advisory classes, diversity/high school/college and career awareness. School vans support expanded use of Greater Hartford venues for learning, athletics, and contributions.
Teachers receive training in inquiry-based learning, interdisciplinary teaching, our unique character curriculum, and encouragement in instruction. Based on the 2010-11 enrollment data, the school meets the state integration standard.
Community partnerships providing rich exposure to Breakthrough students include:
