Cheer on our Team at the Harlem Wizards vs. SMSA All-Stars Basketball Game!

Help Sport & Medical Sciences Academy celebrate their 20th anniversary and raise scholarship money for their seniors.

The Harlem Wizards are coming to Sport and Medical Sciences Academy (SMSA) on Sunday, April 29th at 2:00 p.m.  The afternoon promises to be a fun-filled event, great for kids and adults, and guaranteed to put a smile on your face!  This event is hosted by the SMSA PTO Scholarship Committee to celebrate the school’s 20th anniversary and benefit their annual scholarship fund which has donated over $60,000 to graduating seniors since 2012.  The SMSA All-Stars team will include Principal Jose Colon, Superintendent Leslie Torres-Rodriguez, and ESPN Personality Jay Harris with past and present SMSA students and staff.

The Harlem Wizards have a unique mission: create awe-inspiring events throughout the country.  At Wizards games, fans witness amazing basketball talent combined with hilarious comedy.  It is two hours of family time where parents, grandparents, and kids can all laugh together.  When you’re in the stands, you’re more than a spectator; you’re part of the show with loads of audience participation.  Throughout the game, fans will experience a magical display of tricks, coordinated ball handling, fancy passing and aerodynamic athleticism combined with high-energy comedy and audience interaction. The experience can only be summed up in two words: Awe-Inspiring!

Tickets purchased before the event are $12 for adults and $10 for children ages 4 and up.  Children 3 and under are admitted free.  Tickets can be purchased at Sport and Medical Sciences Academy located at 280 Huyshope Avenue in Hartford from now until game day.  If not sold out, tickets will be available at SMSA on game day, April 29th at 2:00pm for $15 for adults and $12 children and online.

Don’t miss this awe-inspiring event and opportunity to support SMSA!
