Device Distribution Update and Thanks to Staff
Hartford Public Schools is committed to ensuring equity and access to online learning for all our students. Following the delivery of an order we placed for additional Chromebooks, we continued the distribution of these devices to the students who still needed one last week and this week.
From April 21 through April 30, we distributed 2,214 additional devices at four school locations in Hartford. Bringing the
total number of student devices, since we started distance learning, to 10,247. That brings the total of students with confirmed access to devices to 93%.
Many thanks to our hard working and dedicated staff and volunteers who have assisted with this process while also following social distancing policies to keep everyone safe.
Thank you to the Breakthrough North team for a great distributing devices to our families in zone 1. Thank you to all the teams and community based organizations who assisted across the district with distributing devices. @HartfordSuper @Hartford_Public @DrAVM2015 pic.twitter.com/bJbQ1fDeKi
