Dianna Roberge-Wentzell Honored by the Connecticut Arts Administrators Association

In November, Assistant Superintendent Dianna Roberge-Wentzell was honored at the Connecticut Arts Administrators Association 2012 Advocacy Luncheon.  Hartford visual art educator, Margaret Plaganis, presented the award.  Dr. Roberge-Wentzell spearheaded Hartford’s participation in the 2012 Celebration of the Arts bringing 4th & 5th graders from 16 schools – along with family members – to a statewide dinner honoring them for their creativity and citizenship.  Additionally, she encouraged her own daughter to intern with Hartford Performs over the summer reinforcing the importance of the arts in students’ lives from a personal perspective.  Dr. Roberge-Wentzell understands creative thinking and the value of arts in a child’s development.  Please join us in congratulating her for receiving this honor!
