Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. School Holds Annual Multicultural Family Night

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. School held their annual Multicultural Family Night celebration on Thursday, May 18, 2017. Ms. Rumiana Paneva, MLK’s ELL teacher, worked with her students for weeks to put together a multicultural showcase to celebrate our diversity and hard work.

Students from Kindergarten through eighth grade from over eleven different countries gave research presentations about their home countries, sang songs, and taught an audience of parents, staff, and community members about their diverse cultures. The event was a great success!
