Our logo is three interlocking circles, which represents the three-ring conception of giftedness that was developed by our founder, Dr. Joseph S. Renzulli. The three rings represent the characteristics we are looking for in our students: task commitment, creativity and above average ability.

• Melissa Thom (Social Studies Teacher) was awarded the 2010-2011 Connecticut National History Day PBS Teacher of Merit Award
• Ashley LaParre (Math Teacher) was nominated as Renzulli Academy’s Teacher of the Year for 2011-2012
• Ms. Morales-Taylor (Assistant Superintendent) was awarded the Connecticut Association of the Gifted Friends of the Gifted Award
• Dr. Adamowski (Previous Hartford Public Schools Superintendent) was awarded the NAGC/Ball State Outstanding Administrator Award
• The Renzulli Academy has been presented at the World Conference for Gifted and Talented Children in Prague, Czech Republic, The New England Conference for Gifted and Talented (NECGT) in CT and VT, and National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) Annual Conferences in GA and LA
