FCSSP Creates the Multilingual Corner for HPHS Freshmen

Our Family and Community Support Service Provider (FCSSP) from Hartford Public High School, Lissette Prospere wants to give a shout-out to Dr. Mirtha Aldave in their Freshman Academy for ending this year with huge success with her creation of The Multilingual Corner.

“This is an initiative Dr. Aldave kicked off this year at HPHS. She has created a space for our multilingual students to socialize, receive academic support or to simply have a safe and comfortable space where there is adult supervision after school. Some of the activities they engage in are yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and deep breathing exercises. It’s a wonderful way to bring our students together. Dr. Aldave always goes above and beyond for our multilingual students and we would like to recognize her for her dedication and hard work.”
