Good News from Rawson STEAM School
All Rawson STEAM students contributed at least one piece of art from their personal portfolios to our 1st Annual Hartford Performs Art Auction. Every piece on display was sold, raising $1,300 for Hartford Performs. The proceeds will help ensure the continued integration of Arts programs in Hartford Schools.
The first grade students finished out the year with an NGSS unit on plant growth. As a culminating event, our teachers Sharon Flowers and Jared Berg helped students engage in hands-on learning by growing their very own vegetable garden. The students loved each stage of planting, tracking growth and even sampling some of the vegetables they grew!
