Hands-On Instruction at HPHS Engineering & Green Technology Pathway

The Hartford Public High School’s Engineering & Green Technology Pathway (EGT) students participated in many educational, interactive, and fun activities this 2022 – 2023 school year.

The students attended Goodwin University’s College’s Early College Advanced Manufacturing Pathway (ECAMP).

Above, the students attended the winter YES Academy and a field trip to The New England Air Museum. 30 HPHS EGT students attended YES Academy to prepare for summer internship opportunities with Pratt & Whitney that are sponsored by Raytheon and NAF (Raytheon owns Pratt & Whitney and funds NAF Academies throughout the country such as the EGT Pathway program at HPHS).

Above are last year’s freshman signing week activities: General Dynamics Electric Boat attended with a virtual welding simulator, and the CT Science Center was at the school with learning activities for the students.
