HARTFORD DISTRICT & RSCO MAGNET LOTTERY APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN! APPLY BEFORE FEBRUARY 28, 2017!
In a growing, globally competitive world, our children must be prepared to thrive. The changes in our world impact and transform our communities. At Hartford Public Schools, we provide multiple school options, each one representing a diverse learning community with a rigorous and innovative curriculum tailored to challenge students while tapping into individual talents, abilities and interested.
The school selection process is an important and exciting time, one of exploration and learning. From neighborhood schools, to magnet and open choice schools, Hartford Public Schools provides more educational opportunities than any other district in the region. Schools led by dedicated and highly-trained administrators are just one reason why we draw students not only from within Hartford, but also from more than 40 surrounding towns.
We encourage you to take time to explore and start talking with your child about his or her interests and aspirations. Attend our next PK-GRADE 12 (Magnet & Open Choice) school selection fair, on Saturday, December 3, 2016 10AM-1PM at
Connecticut River Academy, 9 Riverside Drive, East Hartford, CT 06118, where you can talk to staff and faculty from each school and learn more.
To open the doors to a quality education at Hartford Public Schools, families must apply online. There are two separate lottery applications for families applying to Hartford District schools and the Regional School Choice Office (RSCO) Magnet/Open Choice schools.
