Hartford Public Schools Students Sweep the Prizes at REEL Youth of Hartford Film Festival

Here are the results from the REEL Youth of Hartford Film Festival. Well done HPS students!!
•    Grand Jury Prize- "Public Citizen" by TJ Noel Sullivan at Classical Magnet School
•    Best Cinematography- "Cafetorium Twins" by Bishnu Khatiwads, Samur Hewitt-Hendley, Shyiann Johnson, Shannon Thomas at the Journalism and Media Academy
•    Best Screenplay- "Leslie Finch & The Whitmore Case" by Tenia Franklin, ViQuan Herring, Odane Campbell, Adrien Sanchez, Luis Mejias-Diaz, Keyanna Tucker-Williams, Samur Hewitt-Hendley, Shyiann Johnson, Shannon Thomas at the Journalism and Media Academy
•    Hartford Awesome Award- "Never Stop" by Ramiro Losa, Christopher Brown, Elijah Williams at YOUmedia
•    Social Justice Award- "Rosaria" by Nicole Ellis at the Journalism and Media Academy
•    Best Performance- " Don't shoot, I Can't Breathe"- Tyrese Hemingway, Zani Scott at Kinsella
•    Audience Choice- "Agent 008" by Joseph Louis and Tyrone Massey at YOUmedia at the Hartford Public Library
