HPHS Nursing Academy Graduates Receive Awards from Northern Connecticut Black Nurses Association

The Northern CT Black Nurses Association luncheon was held at Manchester Country Club on Sept. 28th, and they announced their first student awards.  Way to go Nursing Academy staff !!!! We are making it happen, and now see the results of the hard work that all of you have put into our students! 

Deb Blazys received the Community Spirit Award; Terrica Drummond, a 2013 HPHS Nursing graduate, won the 1st Annual Book Award; Christina James, a 2011 graduate, won the Nursing Scholarship.

Mr. Jones is of the Omega fraternity and his group doubled the awards.  It was a great luncheon.
