Hartford Foundation and HPS Partner to Provide School Supplies for 3,000

On Tuesday, August 18, 2020, in partnership with the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, Hartford Public Schools

Office of Family and Community Partnerships, community partners, and school staff members provided 3,000 school supplies kits for our students.

Each backpack was stuffed with school supplies and sanitary kits including a face mask.

The giveaway took place at four locations including Weaver High School, Wish Museum School (where they were joined by Superintendent Dr. Leslie Torres-Rodriguez, above,) Hartford Public High School, and Dwight Bellizzi Dual Language Academy.

Families could drive-thru or walk-thru to pick up their student’s free Learning & Safety Toolkit.
