HPS Welcomes Back Remote Students to In-Person Learning

Superintendent Dr. Leslie Torres-Rodriguez, right, helps HMTCA Principal Julie Goldstein welcome back remote learners to in-person learning

On Monday, March 29, 2021, 2,600 Hartford Public Schools students who had been learning remotely for more than a year returned to the classroom. Of our over 17,000 students, approximately 10,300 are now attending in-person, five days per week.

Superintendent Leslie Torres-Rodriguez visited one of our 39 schools, Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy, to welcome students back and visit teachers and classrooms.

If families have any questions, they are encouraged to call their child’s school directly
