News from Hartford Parent University

A team of ten Hartford Parent University parent leader graduates are participating in interactive training sessions to become new parent facilitators of Hartford Parent University.  The parent leaders will be engaged in topics such as, learning facilitation strategies, adult learning styles, cultural awareness, Title 1, blending learning/student-centered learning, and are mobilizing parents to equalize schools through the “Equity Project”.
This team of parents will lead the “Equity Project” and share with other parents across the district the five ingredients every school must have to ensure every child has the same opportunity for success despite what school he/she attends.
