INROADS Accepting Applications for 2017 Career Links Leadership Summit

INROADS is now accepting applications for its 2017 Career Links Leadership Summit for current high school seniors entering their freshman year in college in fall 2017.  As you may know, the mission of INROADS is to develop and place talented underserved youth in business and industry and to prepare them for corporate and community leadership.

The FREE Leadership Summit is scheduled for June 2017 and includes
overnight accommodations and meals.  Students will participate in engaging sessions designed to assist the transition into college and become primed for successful careers through workshops focusing on college survival, leadership, personal branding, and work readiness skills.  Students will also explore various careers through an interactive corporate field experience.

The Leadership Summit is designed for current high school seniors with a 3.0 or higher grade point average and planning to pursue ANY MAJOR area of study.  Students are encouraged to complete the online application now based on their junior year GPA and submit grades from first semester of senior year and one letter of recommendation from a school official upon receipt.  The application is available under the heading, “NEW ENGLAND REGION 2017 LEADERSHIP SUMMIT FOR COLLEGE BOUND HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS” at:

Successful participation in the Leadership Summit provides students with
an opportunity to become an INROADS Intern during college.  INROADS places 65% of its Interns into permanent jobs with partner companies upon graduation from college.
