Journalism & Media Magnet Academy Students Join Conversation on WNPR's "Where We Live"

On February 2nd,  "Where We Live," hosted by John Dankosky, was the latest collaboration between the Journalism and Media Academy and WNPR News.. Learning Lab students Shamoya Hanson and Viquan Herring joined the conversation about the pressures facing teenagers today, and how teachers can help. The show featured Cindy Rodriguez, a former Courant reporter and now teacher, who has a new young adult novel about these issues, called “When Reason Breaks.”

Special thanks to Donna Sodipo and Paul Pfeffer for working closely with Betsy Kaplan to get student voices heard.
