Law & Government Academy Students Participate in National Ground Hog Job Shadow Day
Fourteen students from the Law & Government Academy participated in National Ground Hog Job Shadow Day on February 2. Students went to the Superior Court, where they shadowed judges, prosecutors, public defenders, and marshals; Howard, Kohn, Sprague & Fitzgerald, where they shadowed attorney Claudia Baio; and UConn School of Law, where they attended a law school class, met with professors, toured the campus, and interviewed admissions staff. Participating students represented grades 9-12, and included Shakira Flores, Frances Reyes, Stephanie Rodriguez, India King, Win Paw, Paw Shee, KeAjha Prather, Angelina Lopez, Jeileen Trinidad, ReYanda Smith, Jazmine Reid, Zariya Brown, Lyann Garcia and Laura Camacho.
