MegaEducation Supports Attendance Initiatives with MegaEducation Day at University of Hartford

Students with perfect attendance in the towns of Hartford, East Hartford, New Britain, Bloomfield and Waterbury took part in MEGA EDUCATION DAY Jan. 20 when the Hartford Hawks took on the UMass Lowell River Hawks.

Thanks to the support of the Law Office of Attorneys Dressler Strickland and the Hartford Hawks, students redeemed a voucher for two general admission tickets to the game. More than 5,000 tickets were expected to be given away to students with at least one month of perfect attendance this school year.

Mega Education ® is a Dressler Scholastic Incentive System designed to reward student effort and achievement by "edutaining" Generation Y via its hip spokesperson, Mega Eddie®; an animated, urban super hero, who personifies life skills, character development and perseverance. Now celebrating its 24th year, Mega Education® strengthens the corporate role in modern day education through positive role model characterization visualized through multi media campaigns.

“By joining forces with an institution like the University of Hartford Hawks, we are providing through Mega Education a dynamic way to reward and incentivize positive school behaviors,” said Jeffrey Dressler. “Mega Education has been a success for more than 20 years and continues to play an important role in the region’s education delivery thanks to great partners like the Hawks.

The vouchers for the two free tickets were given to the 29 Mega Education participating schools.
