More than Money Conference at Aetna
October is College & Career Awareness Month. On Friday, October 28, 2016, over 200+ fifth graders journeyed to Aetna for a day of learning and fun. This event “More than Money Conference” was sponsored by Aetna in collaboration with Junior Achievement.
The schools from Hartford included Burns Latino Studies, Naylor, and Wish Museum School.
Students were welcomed by Jeremy Race and had an opportunity to hear from Christopher Montross, Sr. Managing Director of Aetna about career pathways at Aetna and the connection to classroom learning. During breakout sessions students were able to talk with Aetna employees about their careers and learn money management strategies.
Lunch was provided and laughter and learning was evident throughout the day.
