(Simpson-Waverly Only)

EdCorpsCT AmeriCorps service members of The Governor’s Prevention Partnership will serve students and:

  • Provide one-on-one mentoring as well as family support during the school day;
  • Provide support to parents/guardians to encourage regular school attendance and make referrals for wrap-around services as needed;
  • Assist with select school sponsored events and activities including, but not limited to: Open Houses and Parent/Teacher conferences;
  • Report to EdCorpsCT Program Supervisor who schedules members according to recommendations from the School and Family Support Service Provider
