ICYMI: Parenting, Coping, and Thriving during COVID-19 and Civil Unrest

ICYMI: Parenting, Coping, and Thriving during COVID-19 and Civil Unrest

On Thursday, March 18, 2021, our Welcome Center presented the second part of a two-part workshop about parenting, coping and thriving during COVID-19 and civil unrest with Alice Farrell, JD, LCSW, MSW of Olive Branch Clinical and Consulting Services, LLC.

The series of virtual workshops is conceived as a resource for families and youth in transition, or families who are experiencing homelessness, and those supported by the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act. Dr. Farrell’s presentations are profoundly helpful to all parents, in pre-COVID-19 life, and more so now as we struggle with additional challenges brought by the global pandemic.

You can watch the Part-two video and explore the presentation below from Thursday, 3/18/21.
