The 4-H Youth Development Program is the University of Connecticut Cooperative Extension’s non-formal education program for boys and girls ages 7 to 19. Administered through the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, this program provides “hands-on” projects, educational programs and activities where youth members acquire knowledge and learn life skills that help them meet the challenges of both today and tomorrow.
