Ramonita Franco Named as Paraprofessional of the Year for Hartford Public Schools

 
The Connecticut Paraprofessional of the Year Program recognizes outstanding paraprofessional contributions to schools and communities. The program honors paraprofessionals who have demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication in the performance of his/her job, thereby earning them the respect and admiration of students, teachers, administrators, coworkers, and parents.
 
Ramonita Franco has been named as the Paraprofessional of the Year for Hartford Public Schools. Ramonita is a paraprofessional at Parkville Elementary School. Ms. Franco was chosen for her talent and ability to work with her peers to achieve the common goal of student achievement. Additionally, Ms Franco has been recognized for her knowledge and flexibility in providing support for teachers and students. Ramonita will be recognized with other Connecticut State district-level winners at the Statewide Paraprofessionals as Partners Conference on November 14, 2013, where the Connecticut Paraprofessional of the Year will be named.
