Rawson School First LEGO League Robotics Teams Bring Home Superlative Prizes

Rawson School's two First LEGO League Robotics teams attended their very first FLL event last Saturday, November 21st, 2015.  After a great day of presenting, cooperating and running robotics, the teams came home with lots of experience– and some very impressive awards.

The RamBots and LinkerBots practice at Rawson with principal Dr. Gerald Martin.

The Rambots, the co-educational team placed 4th in Robot Performance.  The Linkerbots, the all-girls team, placed 1st in Teamwork and CORE Values. We are extremely proud of our students' effort and willingness to challenge themselves.

Rawson, a Lighthouse School established a S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) theme-based curriculum last year.

The LinkerBots' teamleaders practice.  They program the robots, build them, as well as help coach the younger RamBots team.

Congratulations, Rawson Rambots & Linkerbots!
