There are so many ways to help provide support to our neighbors, family and friends in Puerto Rico.

Parkville Community School is working with State Representative Minnie Gonzalez and the Parkville Senior Center to gather food and water for Puerto Rico. For more information, please call Angela Fernandez at 860-695-4720.

Burns School Pie Sales Drive  Orders are due 10/16/17 and delivery takes place on on 11/21/17.  For more information, please email Principal Victor Cristofaro.

McDonough Expeditionary Learning School Dance-a-thon Fundraiser on October 20th from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the school.  For more informaiton, please email Principal Bethany Sullivan.

Annie Fisher STEM Magnet School is holding a Pajamas for Puerto Rico Dress-down Day fundraiser. Student Council organized the day for Friday October 6, but you can also send checks made payable to Annie Fisher STEM PTO and mail to 280 Plainfield Street, Hartford, CT 06112, with Puerto Rico Funds in your check’s memo.

Hartford Police Association’s Puerto Rico Relief Drive took place at the Hartford Public Safety Complex at 253 High Street in Hartford, October 7 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Present were the Hispanic Officers Association, Italian Officers Association, Emerald Society, Hartford Guardians, Inc., Hartford Police Military Veterans Association, Police Benevolent Association, Fraternal Order of Police, and more.  At the Greater Hartford Police Federal Credit Union Parking Lot, they are requesting the following items:

Non-Perishable food items
Feminine products
Lanterns and flashlights
Bug repellent
Baby products
First aid kits
Pet products
Can openers
