Sport and Medical Sciences Academy Celebrates the 8th Grade Transition Symposium

On May 10, 2013, the 8th grade students at SMSA received information about transitioning into high school and information about the importance of attending college. The students were very attentive and asked many questions about entering high school, graduation requirements, college admissions and scholarships. Furthermore, the students were well behaved, enjoyed the activity and are looking forward to following the recommendations offered by the speakers to be able to succeed in high school and in college.

Salina Mebarkia- High School Spanish Teacher
Graham Martin- High School Football Coach
Joseph Kopf – High School Assistant Principal
High School Students Representing Grades 9 through 12
Thomas Miller- 9th grade
Stephanie Burr- 9th grade
Spensor Sisson-10th grade
Patrick Richards-11th grade
Stephanie Ramirez-12th grade
