Members of the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council held their fifth meeting of the year on February 27. On the agenda was a discussion with the superintendent about the district’s uniform policy and a pizza taste-testing organized by Lonnie Burt, the Senior Director of Food & Child Nutrition Services, to inform next year’s lunch menu options.

In addition, middle school students participated in a number of mindfulness exercises facilitated by Leadership Greater Hartford, while high school members continued planning their community action projects for submission to Hartford Decides.

Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council is a student representational group comprised of 2 advisors from each Hartford Public Schools high school as well as representatives from middle schools.
