i-Ready is an online program that provides students with lessons based on their grade level content. The online program allows your child to learn at a pace that is just right for them. These lessons are fun and interactive to keep your child engaged as they learn.  Conquer the challenge! Time to flex those reading muscles.  Fill out the Superintendent’s Reading Challenge form to keep track of your summer reading progress. Earn cool prizes for effort and meeting the weekly reading time target. 

 

 Looking for something interactive and fun?  Our partnership with Hartford Performs continues for our students and families with their new Hartford Performs: Virtual Edition! Students can learn to make a puppet, dance “La Raspa”, write rap poetry, plus much more! Programs are grouped into grade bands.

Lexia is an online program students can access to build and practice their foundational skills.  The Hartford Public Library has many activities available over the summer, including their Reading Bingo Card Challenge, live sessions on their calendar, take-out programs in a bag, as well as creating story walks around the city.  Stay tuned for their summer learning page to engage in all of their summer resources.   Looking for a good book to read? Lexia PowerUp is designed for middle school students to get support in their reading, specifically with learning connected to word study, grammar, and comprehension.  The purpose of the Summer Enrichment program is to help students continue to have fun learning and growing over the summer. The program will provide enrichment opportunities with resources in reading, writing, mathematics, and the arts.  This is a resource tailed specifically to supporting our students in Bilingual classrooms.  Instruction through Imagine Learning focuses on language development. Imagine Learning accelerates learning and empowers each student to fulfill their unique potential.
