Summer Youth Employment Sign-Ups; 14-21 Year Old Students Eligible

 

Have your 8th – 12th grades sign up for Summer Youth Employment and Learning Program via Internet!

 
The Capital Workforce Partners (CWP) Summer Youth Employment and Learning Program is a tier structured 5-6 week, summer "work and learn" experience in July and August designed for students between 8th – 12th grades. Students are trained using the Capital Workforce Partners Career Competencies System. The Career Competencies are "must haves" according to a broad range of employers who have been interviewed.” – CWP website.
 
Please direct your students to this website if they are in need or would like the opportunity of a summer job or internship. Sign-ups begin February 9th 2015 and end in May. Students will be chosen based on a lottery system. Preference is given to low-income students that are also Hartford resident.
