UConn Huskies Offer Support to Kennelly 8th Graders

On Wednesday, June 10, eighth graders at the E.B. Kennelly School in Hartford were greeted by some special guests when they returned to school for the first time in months to clean out their lockers.  Squeals of delight in re-connecting and many air hugs abounded during this special, social-distanced meet-and-greet between 8th graders, families, teachers, staff — and the UConn Huskies men’s basketball team.

You can watch NBC Connecticut’s story below to learn why the relationship between the school and the team is so important.
