University High Track Brings Home Top Trophy at CRAL Championships

On Sunday, February 1, 2020, the University High School of Science and Engineering Indoor Track team excelled at the Capital Region Athletic League (CRAL) Championships over the other teams in the conference:  Parish Hill, Academy of Aerospace and Engineering, Academy of Science and Innovation, Civic Leadership High School, and the Metropolitan Learning Center.

 

 

The Boys team won the Championship and the Girls Team finished 2nd.

 

 

This year The UHSSE Girls Team won the Hartford City Championship (and the Boys Team came in 2nd).

 

UHSSE has approximately 40 team members from all grades and levels of experience. More great news; 17 of their athletes have qualified for the Class S state meet.

University High School of Science and Engineering is a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math magnet high school located in Hartford, Connecticut. This public school was started in 2004, with a small body of faculty, headed by principal Dr Elizabeth Colli, and a freshman class of one hundred students

Founded in 2013, the Capitol Region Athletic League consists of seven schools:

  • Metropolitan Learning Center
