Wish Museum School Visits Wadsworth Atheneum

2nd grade and middle school art students from the Wish Museum School attended the “45th Annual Festival of Trees & Traditions,” the annual holiday arts event at Hartford’s Wadworth Atheneum.  The trip was organized by their Visual Arts teacher, Andrea Siana-Toland and 2nd Grade teacher, Corrine Renker.

Students were in awe over the trees, and enjoyed music from local area schools.

“The most beautiful thing I have ever seen.”
This was just one of the comments from Ms. Siana-Toland’s students.

After the field trip, Art Teacher Ms. Siana-Toland had a lesson with her 2nd graders about shapes, and they made their own beautiful  Festival of Trees, seen below.
