Yale Peabody Museum presents Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Art Contest and Open Mic Poetry Contest for CT High School Students
Attention all high school students. Submit your artwork now and poetry!
As part of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. event at the Yale Peabody Museum, we will be holding an art contest for Connecticut high school students. The theme of the contest is to honor Dr. King and his legacy visually through works of art.
The Community Poetry Open Mic, a featured event of the Peabody’s MLK Day celebration, gives community members of all ages an opportunity to share their original poetry or song and to speak their minds on issues of justice and injustice. The Open MIC and Art Contest is free to participate.
