Hartford Youth Custodial Interns

Hartford Public Schools Facilities Department, in collaboration with Local 566, Our Piece of the Pie, and Center for Latino Progress, hosted approximately 70 Hartford Youth Interns this summer.  Our Hartford students work side-by-side with our Custodial and Maintenance Staff to prepare our schools for early start, and the first day of school district-wide.

The Facilities Department has 7 Hartford students who have graduated, and are currently working with the Facilities Department after their experiences working through the youth internship program.

The Buildings and Grounds department would like to thank everyone; and are extremely proud of all of our youth and staff who make this program a wonderful experience every summer.
